Deborah Lynn Beckman

Deborah L. Beckman (“Debi”), 59, of Mt. Prospect, Illinois, passed away on November 29, 2025. Debi was born on October 13, 1966.

Debi will be remembered for her generous heart and her willingness to “give you the shirt off her back.” If someone needed help, she showed up—steadily, kindly, and without hesitation. She loved going to craft shows, spending time with family, and enjoying life’s simple moments—especially watching the first snowfall of the year. Debi also loved being a cheer mom and truly enjoyed her time with the Hanover Park Hurricanes, cheering loudly and proudly.

Debi is survived by her daughters Jetta Duffey (Beckman) (married to Matt Duffey) and Carlene Beckman (married to Sarah Szymankowski), and by her beloved granddaughter, Annabella. She is also survived by her brothers Ronald (“Ronnie”) Knueppel, Thomas Knueppel (Annette Knueppel), Scott Knueppel, and sisters Gale Lajoice (Bill Lajoice), Lisa Mulatz (Dave Mulatz).

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arlene Eckenrod (2019) and Anthony (“Tony”) Eckenrod (2024), and by her brother Kenneth (“Kenny”) Knueppel (Virginia Knueppel).

A visitation and celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Countryside Funeral Home in Streamwood, IL, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Debi was loved very much, and she will be missed more than words can say—by her family, friends, and everyone whose life she touched.
