Obituary for Deanna “Dee” Dawn McDermott (Weisshaar)
January 11, 1964 – November 30, 2025

Deanna “Dee” McDermott, born January 11, 1964 in Santa Ana, California, entered into the presence of Jesus on November 30, 2025. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Dee’s life was defined by her unwavering love, generosity, and joyful spirit.

She is survived by her loving husband, Bob McDermott, her children Christine Mauch (Shane) and Michael Weisshaar (Joey), and her cherished grandsons, Nathan and James Mauch, who were truly the light of her life. Dee also leaves behind her siblings Frank Przyborowski (Estella), Lewis Perkins (Gabby), Matthew Perkins (Holly), Terry Perkins, and she is reunited in heaven with her sister Susie Perkins.

Throughout her life, Dee held many roles with pride and dedication, including executive administrator, nanny, caretaker, and entrepreneur. Her business, Leave It to Dee, captured her hardworking spirit and her passion for helping others. For decades, she lovingly and faithfully cared for her mother, Dorothy, embodying selflessness in everything she did.

Dee was a fun-loving, caring, giving, loyal, and deeply compassionate woman whose laugh could fill a room. She loved being silly with her grandkids, making them laugh, and creating moments that will be treasured forever. Her love for Jesus guided her life, and her faith remained her source of strength until her final day. She gave to others without hesitation and put their needs before her own—an example of true, unconditional love.

Although her passing feels far too soon, Dee is now at peace, free from pain, and held safely in the arms of her Savior.
