Dean Burton

Dean C. Burton, 82 of Arlington Heights since 1993, also known as Dean C. Bambini in his younger years.
He grew up in the Norwood Park neighborhood of Chicago. Mr. Burton spent many years in Wisconsin, during his career as a marketing manager for the Wisconsin Gas Company. He graduated from Taft High School in 1945 and The University of Illinois-Champaign/Urbana in 1949. Dean shared his love of the Green Bay Packers with his son Jeff, and he also loved the Chicago Cubs. As an alum of The University of Illinois he enjoyed following the football and men's basketball teams.

Survivors include daughter Carol Jeanne Burton and her dear friend, Pat Fasse both of Elgin, son Jeffrey S. Burton and his dear friend Betsy Van Drake, both of Wheaton; many close friends, including Howard Nelson of Roselle. Dean and Howard grew up in Norwood Park together and could be considered by many as unrelated brothers.

At Mr. Burton's request there will be no visitation or funeral services. Cremation was private at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1114 North Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, IL,60004.
