Deacon Serafin Molinaro of Bloomingdale; beloved husband of Deanna (nee Falson); loving father of Pamela (Sid) Rattner, Michael, Patricia (Scott) Kraegel and Joseph; cherished grandfather of Katelyn Rattner, Dominic Kraegel, Michelle (Andrew) Frampton and David Rattner; proud great grandfather of Havanah and Brody; dear cousin of Rosemarie Arnott.
Ordained as a deacon in 1976 at Holy Name Cathedral he served Resurrection Catholic Church for 20 years. A 1954 graduate of Weber High School, member of IBEW #134. He was the “world’s biggest White Sox fan”.
Lying in State Sunday, January 25th, 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Resurrection Catholic Church, 30W350 Army Trail Rd., Wayne, IL, wake service 7:00p.m. Mass of Christian Burial Monday, 10:00 a.m. Burial Assumption Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to Journey Care Hospice, 405 Lake Zurich Rd., Barrington IL 60010 would be appreciated.
