Dawn Renee Cunningham, 57, died peacefully with her family by her side on January 13, 2021, at their home in Evanston, IL after a courageous battle with cancer.  Her joy, spunk and spark for life will always be with us.
 
 She is survived by Rob Eiseman, her adoring husband and partner of more than 21 years, their two children Charlie (19) and Eva (16), her parents Bill and Carol Cunningham, brothers Craig (Jackie)  and Todd Cunningham, sister-in-law Cathy (Dan) Nemeth, brother-in-law Steve Eiseman, nephews Connor and Kyle Cunningham, nieces Kaylee Cunningham and Maddie Nemeth, as well as many loving uncles, aunts, and cousins.
 
 Dawn was born on September 12th, 1963 in Hanover Park, IL.  She graduated from Conant High School and went on to get her bachelor’s degree in communications from Southern Illinois University.
 
 She had a remarkable verve for life, a heartfelt love for family and friends, and an unwavering commitment to her community.  She raised her two children with a deep sense of the larger world around them and the importance of treating others with kindness.  Dawn had a great capacity for compassion and love, and lit up every room with her laughter, smile and beauty.
 
 Her 30-plus year career included selling real estate in Chicago and Evanston and working in print and broadcast sales for WXRT-FM, The Chicago Reader and Windy City Times.  She loved working with her clients and colleagues and approached every situation with integrity, curiosity and creativity.
 
 Dawn had a passion for music, gardening, travel, cooking, concerts and going to Cubs games.  She loved summer street fairs and never missed a good party!  She loved to celebrate birthdays and holidays…especially Halloween, Christmas and her favorite – St. Patrick’s Day!  She adored sitting out in the front yard on warm summer nights drinking wine with her girlfriends and neighbors or hanging out in the kitchen late at night dancing with her husband, Rob.
