David Shepherd, of Huntley for 14 years, died Sunday, February 13, 2011 in Woodstock. Born June 21, 1941in Lamont, KY. He was the son of George and Inez (nee Fultner). David was a Ready Mix Driver working for Meyer Material of Streamwood for 27 years. He enjoyed many things especially fixing up old houses and being with family and friends,
Survivors include wife Georgie (nee Hernandez); daughters Dawn and Kimberly (Dan) Mari; sister Dorothy Weaver and brothers George H. and Don.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation Thursday, February 17th, 2011 from 4:00p.m. until time of funeral service 8:00p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd (at Stearns Rd), Bartlett. Following services cremation will be at the Countryside Crematory. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Parkinson Disease Association, www.apdaparkinson.org, would be appreciated.
