David Allen Pedersen

(1950-2025)

We are saddened to announce the passing of David from complications of cancer. David was a true light in this world and led a life of servitude to his family, friends, and community. Before his passing we sat down with Dave and he crafted the following message:

“I appreciate all the many prayers well wishes and support throughout my illness.I ask that you continue to share that love and support with others.  It has been my joy to know all of you and to be able to forge the friendships that have made me laugh, be joyful, and feel blessed over the years. Continue to be a great blessing to others and continue to live life to the fullest with the joy of knowing that each day is a gift given to us from the love of our Lord Jesus”

David is survived by his wife Janis, his two children, Kristin and Ken, and his granddaughters Megan and Emily. David is also remembered by his brothers, Gerald and Keith Pedersen, his sister Kathy Friest and many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.

Remembrance services will be held at Countryside Funeral Home in Roselle (333 South Roselle Rd. Roselle, IL) on September 5th from 3-8 pm and funeral services will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church at 405 Rush Street at 11 a.m. September 6th.
