David Christopher "Dave" McCallister, 37, of West Chicago, IL, passed away Thursday, July 17, 2025. An avid gamer and Chicago Blackhawks fan, Dave was resilient in his quest for life. He was known for his kindness, compassion, and protective sense. Beloved husband of Jenna (nee Losch); dear father of Ella McCallister; cherished son of Wayne (Jayne) McCallister and the late Marilyn (nee Brissette) McCallister; loving brother of Kevin (Melissa) McCallister and step brother of Amy (Bill) Tozzi; fond uncle Madelyn McCallister, Brody Losch, and Will and Lauren Tozzi; proud dog dad of Cucumber and cat dad of Millie and Luna. Visitation Friday, July 25 from 3:00pm to 9:00pm where stories will be shared at 5:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.), Bartlett.
