Visitation for David J. Lantz of Bartlett since 1991 will be held Thursday, February 2, 2017 3:00p.m. until time of service 8:00p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett. Cremation was private at the Countryside Crematory.

Born April 8, 1952 in Chicago, David died Saturday, January 28, 2017.

He is the beloved husband of 42 years of Karen F. nee Malec; loving father of Tim, Dan and Matt (Lisa); proud grandfather of Grace and "one on the way"; cherished son of the late Robert and Mary Lantz nee Dornik; dear brother of Roberta (Bob) Klich, Mark, Barbara Ficenec and Laurie (Tom) Lapas; son-in-law of Shirley and the late Edmond Malec; brother-in-law of Cheryl (Jim) Petracco and Carol (the late Gerry) Ptaszkowski; beloved Uncle of many nieces and nephews and a great friend to many. David will also be missed by his dog, Marty.
