David Hornback

David L. Hornback, 56, of South Elgin passed away unexpectedly Sunday August 4th. He was the loving husband for 32 years of Claudia, nee Conrad; dear brother of Danny (Carol) of Elgin and Deanne Cooper of Bativia; cherished son of Margaret, nee Walz of Aurora, and the late Floyd; loving son in law of June Conrad and caring brother in law of Glenn (Roxann) Conrad of Battle Creek , Mi. David had many interests some of which included his love for fishing, photography and steam engine trains. He had a life long love for racing and a fascination of WWII aircraft. As a child he spent his time drumming, cross country running and skating with friends. He cheered on the Cubs, Bears and Bulls. David was a valued employee of Conway Freight Trucking Co. since 1993. Visitation Thursday August 8th from 9:00 am until time of service 11:00 am at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 95 South Gilbert St. (at Middle St) South Elgin.
