David Hernandez

David Hernandez, 62, died December 3, 2024. David was the beloved father of Stephanie (Sean) O'Brien and Samantha (Andrew) Ghazarian; proud grandfather of Stella, Penelope, Rowan and Rhys; dear brother of Connie, Arthur, Martha, Ellie, Michael and Rick; he will be missed by the mother of his children and his best friend Kristine Hernandez. Uncle to many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Alfonso and Consuelo Hernandez of Streamwood, Illinois.

David was an incredibly talented guitarist who inspired many with his music. He played in various bands across the Chicagoland area. David wrote many songs and collaborated with a number of musicians. David also enjoyed running and completed the Chicago Marathon.

Memorial visitation Thursday December 12, 8:00am until time of prayers 9:15am at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 1640 S. Greenmeadows Blvd (at Barrington Road) Streamwood, Illinois. Followed by a procession to St. John the Evangelist Church Mass 10:00am . Immediately followed by an interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery where he will be laid to rest with his parents and Grandmother.
