David Emerson

David Richard Emerson, 54 was called home by God on Saturday August 23, 2014. He was born January 29, 1960 to Frank and Christine Emerson in Chicago, Illinois. David was a devoted Christian who believed in Jesus Christ as his savior. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend to many. David loved to play with his grandchildren and spent the rest of his time fishing, listening to country music, enjoying movies and travel with his wife.

David is survived by his wife of 35 years Liz, son Daniel (Shannon) Emerson, father Frank Emerson, sister Rhonda Pyle, sister Theresa Tucker, brother Rod Howard, grandchildren Quinn and Ian Emerson, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Visitation for David will be Saturday August 30, 9:00a.m. until the time of service 12Noon at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Road (at Stearns Road) Bartlett. Following services cremation will take place privately at Countryside Crematory.
