David R. Dankert of Schaumburg; beloved husband of Gail E. (nee Crane); loving father of Ann (Karl) Hofmeier and Matthew Dankert; cherished grandfather of Anja Hofmeier; dear brother of Bud (Dottie) and Rich (Renee); fond uncle of Kathy Crane, Diane Muntges and Dan Dankert.
A member of Local 130, David was also on the Village of Schaumburg Zoning Board for 15 years. A member of St. Matthew Church he was also on the church council, he was also an umpire for the Schaumburg Park District.
Memorial Mass, Saturday, July 2nd at 10:00 a.m. at St. Matthew Church, 1001 Schaumburg Rd., Schaumburg.
In lieu of flowers donations to the American Heart Association, 208 S. LaSalle St., Ste 1500, Chicago, IL 60604-1242 would be appreciated.
