Darryl James DeVito, 54, of Bloomingdale, IL passed away on March 8, 2024. Darryl was born on March 22, 1969 to his parents Thomas C. and Carol DeVito in Park Ridge, IL. He graduated with a Bachelors degree from Northwestern University and worked as a computer programmer.
Darryl leaves behind his beloved parents Tom and Carol. He was an esteemed brother of Tom (Charlotte) and Todd (Lorene) and a cherished uncle of Cordell, Eden, Eric, and Sieanna.
Darryl was an avid, although not particularly skilled skiier and golfer. What he lacked in natural talent, he made up for with enthusiasm. When he started skiing, he coined the phrase "Falling is half the fun!" and he repeated that phrase throughout his life.
Darryl was also a rabid Northwestern University alumni and fan. He played saxophone in the Northwestern University Marching Band (NUMB) through college and played every year in the alumni band after he graduated as a NUMBalum.
