Darouny Sivichane Sison

Darouny (Dee) Sivichane Sison, 45, of Elgin IL, passed away peacefully on Sunday March 4, 2018 with her family by her side. Born February 5, 1973 in Vientiane, Laos she was the second daughter of Chaleun and Kenechanh Sivichane. A 1991 graduate of Rockford East High School, she earned a Bachelor of Science from Northern IL University (1997) and a Master of Science in Nursing from Saint Xavier University (2006); she had a successful career as an Advance Practicing Registered Nurse for several years at Patricia A Larson M.D. and Associates in Elk Grove Village, IL and Aespala Medspa and Wellness in Oak Brook, IL.
Dee has always valued and cherished her time with family and friends. She was very compassionate, kind, and extremely generous. Dee was a driven professional with a positive work ethic. When diagnosed with breast cancer in 2014, she remained dedicated to her work and in her will to fight her illness. She remained a brave, iron-willed woman, even throughout her final months. A selfless woman who went through her life helping others. Dee was a loving wife and mother to three beautiful children, a daughter who adored her parents, a supporting sister to her siblings, and caring to all of her relatives and friends. We thank her for sharing her life with us.
Beloved and dear wife of Ramir Sison; loving mother of Sommer, Victor and Sofia; cherished sister of Chanthaly (Mixay) Phonthibsvads, Sivisay (Cert Pathammavong) Sivichane, and Maksavanh Sivichane; proud and loving aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Visitation on Saturday, March 10th, 2018, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., with funeral services at 2:00 p.m. until time of cremation 4:00p.m. on Sunday, March 11th, 2018 at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory at 950 South Bartlett Road, Bartlett, IL 60103.
