It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Darlene S. Morisco, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Darlene passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 5th, 2026, in Elgin, IL. She was born on Sunday, February 21st, 1965, in Toledo, Ohio, and brought immeasurable joy and love to everyone who knew her.
Darlene is survived by her devoted husband, Rocco Morisco, and cherished children, Ashley (J.J.) Bailey, Alise (Brian) White, and Evan (Marissa) Kuhn. Her grandchildren, Jack, Elsie, and Lincoln Fox, were the light of her life, and she treasured every moment spent with them. Darlene also leaves behind her loving sister, Dawn (John) Boggs.
She was preceded in death by her father, David Hamann, and her mother, Karen Fravor, both of whom she held close to her heart throughout her life.
A dedicated Account Executive at Collaborative Marketing Group for many years, Darlene was respected by colleagues and clients alike for her professionalism and dedication. She was passionate about her work and forged lasting relationships through her career.
Darlene was a woman of many talents and interests including dancing and roller skating. An animal lover at heart, she found joy in riding horses and taking her dogs for long walks. She found peace in painting and drawing. Her artistic spirit extended to the kitchen, where she was known for her cooking, often shared with friends and family. She also had a soft spot for helping senior citizens, offering her time and skills to support them through various endeavors.
Above all, Darlene was a proud and loving grandmother, who dedicated much of her time to creating memorable experiences with her grandchildren. Her unwavering love and affection for her family will be her enduring legacy.
Cremation is private at the Countryside Crematory. A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026 from 11:00am to 5:00pm with a celebration of life at 2:00pm at the Countryside Funeral Home in Bartlett..
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Darlene's name to ASPCA, www.aspca.org, or a cancer research foundation of choice.
Darlene's vibrant spirit, her kindness, and her love will be missed beyond measure. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth, compassion, and the unyielding strength of family bonds.
