Daniel Styrna

Daniel R. Styrna, husband of Jean M., nee Paape, father of Karen Styrna (Kevin Ruhrup), Mark (Annie); grandfather of Megan, Matthew and Zachary Styrna; step grandfather of Konner and Kameron Ruhrup; brother of the late Mitchell (Marilyn) and late Stanley (Rita); brother in law of Michael Filippelli and Judy Filippelli; son of the late Stanley and Josephine, nee Oszkandy; uncle of many nieces and nephews. Dan was a dedicated linesman, for decades, at Illinois Bell / SBC. In retirement he loved to take his grandchildren fishing. He stayed active by playing tennis and working on his wood working projects. His family was always his priority. He will forever be remembered and always missed. Due to the ongoing Covid pandemic the services for Mr. Styrna will be private at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett. Interment Mt. Emblem Cemetery.
