Daniel J. Roberts

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Daniel “Dan” J. Roberts, a beloved husband, father, Papa, brother, and friend. Daniel departed this world on Tuesday, March 3rd, 2026, at the age of 60. Born on Saturday, September 25th, 1965, in Chicago, Daniel was a resident of Streamwood, IL.

Daniel is survived by his devoted wife of 40 years, Rhonda, and their loving children: Jennifer (Jon) Bitaut, Daniel (Kaylie) Roberts, and Lance (Kayla) Roberts. He was preceded in death by their beloved child, Casey. A proud and loving Papa, Daniel will be sorely missed by his grandchildren Zachary, Linnea, and Leon. He also leaves behind his dear sister Tammy (Russell) Parrish, his brothers Bobby and Kevin, his cherished aunts Dorothy and Diane, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Betty Roberts, whom he loved dearly.

Daniel dedicated 38 years of his life to his career at Bristol Hose and Fitting, where he was admired and respected by colleagues and friends. He was a man with a passion for Harley Davidson motorcycles, a 1974 Gran Torino and had a talent for fixing cars. Above all, his family was his greatest pride and joy.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during a visitation at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory in Streamwood, IL, on Friday, March 13th, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life service will follow at the same location on Saturday, March 14th, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., to honor and remember the extraordinary life Daniel led.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Anderson Humane in Daniel's memory at www.ahconnects.org, reflecting his love and compassion for animals.

Arrangements have been respectfully handled by Countryside Funeral Homes & Crematory - Streamwood. Daniel's warmth, sense of humor, and unwavering love will be profoundly missed but never forgotten by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
