Daniel Richard Looze, 25, of Roselle, IL, was greeted by his Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ on March 2, 2015. He was born on April 24, 1989 in South Korea and adopted by his loving parents Thomas and Kathleen (nee Carney) Looze of Roselle. He graduated from Lake Park High School in 2007 and Environmental Technical Institute in 2010.
Daniel, known as “Panda” by his friends, was a gifted tradesman, taking after his two grandfathers. He was always willing to lend a hand to family and friends, whether it was repairing their heating or air conditioning, or addressing any auto, computer, electrical or plumbing needs.
Daniel specialized in fixing restaurant equipment, and received several awards and certifications for his contributions in the field. Beyond these talents, and most importantly, Daniel was a very compassionate and kind individual. If he knew someone was sad, he would be the first to notice and make them smile.
Daniel is survived by his parents Thomas and Kathleen; his sister Katherine Looze; and future brother-in-law Robert Bronk. He also is survived by his paternal grandmother Margaret Looze; his Aunt Marge (Jack) Finholm; Aunt Diane Salem; and several cousins. He is preceded in death by his brother Matthew Looze; his paternal grandfather Louis Looze; and his maternal grandparents Patrick and Olive Carney.
Visitation for Daniel will be Thursday March 5, 4:00p.m. - 9:00p.m. at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 333 S. Roselle Road (1/2 South of Irving Park Road) Roselle. Funeral Friday 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment Memory Gardens Memorial Park in Arlington Heights, IL.
