Daniel Geever

Daniel C. Geever, 73, of St. Petersburg, FL, died Wednesday, March 12, 2014 surrounded by family. Born July 11, 1940 in Chicago. He was the son of Chester and Gertrude (nee Matt). Daniel loved traveling, being outdoors and was an avid athlete. He enjoyed boating, flying and the warmth of Florida. He will be missed by his family. Survivors include Danelle, Michael (Audra) and Donna (Dave) Szopinski; grandchildren Daniel, Nicholas, Michael, Joseph, Melanie, Matthew and Devin; nephew Mark, niece Kathy, special pet friend Misty and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Tom and Bill. Inurnment 12:30p.m. Monday, March 17, 2014 at St. Joseph Cemetery, 3100 Thatcher Ave, River Grove. Arrangements and cremation by Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, Bartlett.
