Dallas Lackey

Dallas W. Lackey, 96, of Bartlett for over 20 years, passed away peacefully Sunday, June 15, 2025 with his family at his side. Dallas enjoyed travelling and playing golf. He especially loved cheering on his grandkids in their events. Beloved father of Mike (Carol) Lackey, Mitch Lackey, Larry (Doreen) Lackey, Dawn Nowak, David (Colleen) Benes, and the late Jeff (Martha) Lackey; cherished grandfather of Beth (Nick) Robertson, Emily (Max) Krevitz, Allison (Kyle) Peschel, Eric (Lea) Lackey, Josh (Laura) Lackey, Ashley (Chris) Salvador, Jeremy (Samantha) Lackey, Clayton (Morgan) Lackey, Amanda and Paige Nowak, and Braydon and Elizabeth Benes; proud great grandfather of Sophia, Hailey, Oliver, Vienna, George, Aiden, Easton, Knox, Stella, and Layla; Dallas was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. He spent 38 years with the love of his life Terri Benes. Visitation Wednesday, June 18 from 9:00am until time of stories 12:30pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.), Bartlett. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
