Dale Wiback

Dale Wiback, 70, of Bartlett, dad of Dillon (Jen), Derek (Sharon), Kim (Scott) Cazel and Kelly (Billy) Dennehy; longtime companion of Nancy Otto; papa and far far of Tristan, Brennan, Charlie, Maria, Will, Kate, Brooke and Miles; brother of Peggy (John) and the late Judy (late Lee); he was a loving uncle and friend to everyone he met. Dale liked to spend his summers at their cottage at the Illinois Turner Camp. He could be found tinkering in the garage and listening to the Cubs. In the Fall he cheered on the Bears and the Blackhawks. He loved to bowl and was a member of various local leagues. Dale was a humble, hard working, generous human being who never met a stranger. His greatest joy came with being around family, especially the grandchildren who he actively and boisterously cheered on at any of their events. He will be missed by many. Visitation Friday,October 19th, 3:00 pm until time of service 7:30 pm at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett. Cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory following services. In lieu of flowers the family will have a local charity selected on the night of the visitation.
