Dale Grant

Dale Grant, 64, of South Elgin, died Monday, December 21, 2020 while vacationing in Florida with his wife and grandson. Born July 31, 1956. Dale was the owner of Grant Truck and Trailer Repair in South Elgin for over 34 years. He enjoyed fishing and was a huge John Deer fan. He will be remembered for always finding a project to work on and for always putting his family first. Beloved husband of 34 years to Candy (nee Perkins); loving dad of Robert (Lara) Misitano, Carrie Sansing, Andrea and Nick (Shannon) Misitano and Ray Grant; cherished grandpa of Sebastian, Madison, Hope, Wyatt, Christina, Matthew, Alec, Faith, Candace, Kevin Jr, Lillian, Lorelei, Devyn, Nicco, Rocco and Vinny; kind great grandpa of 4; dear son of the late Ray and Betty Grant; kind brother of Jim, Ron, Elaine and Laura and uncle to several nieces and nephews. Cremation will be private at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory.
