Dale Erickson

Dale Eugene Erickson, 74, of Bartlett, passed away unexpectedly on March 1, 2023. Dale is the beloved husband of 52 ½ years of Patricia (nee Quinlan); loving dad of Kimberly Casale and Daniel (Terrie) Erickson; cherished papa of Vincent (Taylor Kwiatkowski), Megan, Isabella and the late Anthony Casale, Madison, Finnleigh , and Declan Erickson; dear brother-in-law of Catherine (Daniel) Klabish and Uncle of Kori (Mark) Alves, Jack and Ryan Alves; fond cousin, yet more like a brother of Ernest(Patricia) Erickson; many loving family, friends, neighbors and “grumpy” grandpa to his bonus grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Eugene and Violet (nee Mueller) Erickson, his grandson Anthony Casale, and his adored mother-in-law and father-in-law Leonard and Shirley Quinlan.

Dale worked in the meat cutting business for 50+ years. He started at Dell Farms, then moved to National T and retired from Dominicks in 2011. He was a member for 50+ years to the Local 1546. Dale was an army Veteran and was stationed in California as a cook. He had the privilege to cook for General Westmoreland.

Dale was a die-hard White Sox Fan and was also known to enjoy listening to the neighborhood gossip. But what Dale loved most was his family and his grand-pup Charlie. He will be truly missed.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, March 5, 2023 from 5-9 pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 S. Bartlett Rd. Bartlett, IL 60103. Prayers Monday March 6, 2023 at the funeral home at 11:00 am to St. Peter Damien, Bartlett, for Mass 11:30am. A private cremation will follow.
