Dagoberto Espinal, 67, of South Elgin died Thursday, March 8, 2018. Born March 24, 1950 in Honduras. Dagoberto was a great soccer player, having played for Cachorros del Lenca and Los Leones del Olimpia in Honduras. Dagoberto lived life to the fullest. He always knew how to make you laugh and raise your spirits. He enjoyed spending time with his family and will be missed by many. Beloved dad of Emilia (Ivan) Dominguez; loving lito of Isalie and grand dog Miley; cherished son of the late Florentino and Angela Portillo (nee Valerio); dear brother of Hernan, Sara, Liduvina, Thelma Lillian, Marlen Elizabeth, Idalmy, Mayra, Felix, Delmy and Elix Alexis and several Nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. Memorial visitation 3:00p.m. until time of memorial service 7:30p.m. Saturday, March 24, 2018 at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd (at Stearns Rd), Bartlett.
