Cynthia Moehrlin

Cindy D. Moehrlin, nee Baranowski of Elgin, formerly of Bartlett and Chicago passed away peacefully at home on June 25th, surrounded by her family. Cindy was the devoted wife for 42 1/2 years to Ray; loving mother of Mike (Stacey) and Greg (Laura), cherished grandma of Aaron, Devin, Emily and Maddy; dear sister of Carl Baranowski, Steve (Joanne) Baran and Sue (Marc) Rio; caring aunt of Dan and Kate Rio. Cindy was a guiding light for many underprivelaged in the Fox Valley area. She served as the director of Aternatives at ECC. She worked for the Association of Individual Development (Elgin) from 1994-2008. She loved all animals great and small. She taught GED and she was the proud recipient of the Martin Luther King Award in 1989. Services will be private. Donations to your favorite charity would be appreciated in Cindy's name.
