Connie Selwood

January 1, 1943 — April 3, 2026

Bartlett

Corinne Marie Selwood, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 3, 2026, at her home in Bartlett, Illinois. Born into the world on a crisp New Year's Day in 1943, in St. Louis, Missouri, Corinne lived a life full of love, wisdom, and cherished memories.

Connie was known to be a strong business woman who had much knowledge in the employee benefit plan sector. She and her husband Alex wrote insurance and retirement plans for many local unions, including the Teamsters. Mom always wanted to help the less fortunate and always wanted to make sure her family was well cared for

She is survived by her daughters, Deborah (Ron) Sackman and Pamela (Jim Clark) Medley, who will continue to uphold her legacy of warmth, strength, and compassion. Her memory will be cherished by her treasured grandchildren, Abigail (Tyler) Race and Isaac (Elizabeth) Clark, and her dear great-grandchildren, Devin, Austin, Sadie, and Adaline, who will carry forth her values of kindness and integrity.

Connie's life was enriched by her loving brother, Irv (Kity) Booher, and her sister-in-law, Linda Booher. She is now reunited in peace with those who preceded her in death: her husband, Alex Selwood, her son, John Moore, her granddaughter, Dana Sackman, her mother, Irene Booher, and her brother, Donald Booher.

Corinne will be dearly missed but forever remembered by all who were lucky enough to know her. As we say goodbye, we hold her memory close, finding comfort in the love she shared and the lessons she imparted to each of us.
