She was a dedicated warehouse manager at Mitsubishi Electric in Vernon Hills, where she worked with diligence and grace until her retirement. Her commitment to excellence was an inspiration to all who worked alongside her. Outside of her professional life, Connie was a devoted member of Gospelife Church. Connie will be remembered fondly by her church community. She was known for her unwavering faith, her constant prayers, and her ability to bring light and encouragement to everyone around her. Connie truly believed in the power of prayer and spread kindness everywhere she went.
She leaves behind a family who adored her: her children, Daniel Sikora (Arlene) and Cathy Hecht; her treasured grandchildren, Lynn, Karen (Jonathan), Stephen, Jeremy, Chester, Em, and Charley; and four wonderful great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her dear brother, Donald Baron. Connie is reunited in heaven with her first love and husband Daniel (Dan) Sikora, with her loving parents, John and Julia Baron, and her siblings, Dorothy "Dee" and John Baron, whose memories she always cherished.
A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor on Thursday, October 22, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM, with a prayer service at 4:30 pm, at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 333 South Roselle Rd., Roselle, Illinois.
