Concha Barrutia (también conocido como Maria Concepcion Asturias), 92, of Bartlett. Beloved mother of Alvaro Berges, Julius (Claudia) Barrutia, Mike (Wendy) Barrutia, Silvia (Ed) Stade, Robert Barrutia and the late Ingrid Berges; loving grandmother of Haley, Julius R., Alessandra, Jake, Nicole (Dominic), Natalie (Scott), Eddie (fiancé Nikki), Melanie (Zak), Erik (Gianna) and Brian; cherished great grandmother of Evan, Cameron, Madison, Trent and Ella; caring daughter of the late Ricardo and Trinidad (nee Valenzuela) Asturias and dear sister of Ernesto, Maria Victoria and the late Raquel, Ricardo, Maria Eugenia and Elisa. Concha was an artist and was recognized for her painting. She enjoyed nature and a good telenovela but what she enjoyed most was spending time with her family. Memorial visitation 3:00p.m. until time of service 7:30p.m. Friday, January 25, 2019 at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd (at Stearns Rd), Bartlett. Cremation was private at the Countryside Crematory.
