Clifford Alan Papacek, 71, Dahlonega, Georgia died about 3:00 p.m. central time, Monday, August 19, 2013 in Columbia, Missouri from natural causes.
Born September 2, 1941 in Oak Park, Illinois, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank and Helen Papacek. Lived eight years in Dahlonega, Georgia, coming from Redington Shores, Florida. He married the former Judith Kammes in St. Mary Catholic Church in West Chicago, Illinois on August 17, 1963. He was a member of Lester Road Christian Church and Sigma Nu Fraternity. He graduated from Elgin High School, Iowa State University, John Marshall in Chicago and Massey in Atlanta, Georgia.
Survivors include wife, Judith Papacek, daughter, Tamara Peppers, both of Dahlonega, Georgia; son and daughter-in-law, Eric and Lisa Papacek, Rochester, Michigan; grandsons, Christopher and Zachary Gonzalez, Dahlonega, Georgia and Nolan and Ethan Papacek, Rochester, Michigan and sister, Ellie Horyn, West Chicago, Illinois.
Funeral ceremonies will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 30, 2013 in Countryside Funeral Home, 950 Bartlett Road at Stearns Road, Bartlett, Illinois. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m., Thursday, August 29, 2013. Cremation rites will be accorded. Final resting place will be in Bohemian National Cemetery, Chicago, Illinois.
