Clementine Chalupka

Clementine Chalupka of Schaumburg Visitation for Clementine Chalupka, 89, formerly of Hoffman Estates, will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, at Countryside Funeral Home, 333 S. Roselle Road (½ mile south of Irving Park Road), Roselle. Prayers will be said at 9:15 a.m. Thursday, at the funeral home, proceeding to St. Hubert Church, for a Mass at 10 a.m. Interment will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery. Born June 25, 1920, in Spaulding, Neb., moving to Chicago in 1937, she died Saturday, July 18, 2009. She enjoyed spending time with her family, sewing, gardening and traveling. She was the beloved wife of the late Ralph Chalupka; loving mother of Douglas (Nancy) Wawrzyniak, Roxann (Lou) Miller and the late Leslie; cherished grandmother of Richard (Maria) Wawrzyniak, Diana (Robert) Jozefowicz, Cynthia (Scott) Bell, Michael and Pamela Wawrzyniak, and Matthew and John Miller; proud great-grandmother of seven; and aunt of many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Anna Kurek; brothers, Edmond, Frank and Lawrence Kurek; sisters, Dora Para, Victoria Gunchick, Leona Shotkoski, Lucille Govern and Helen Borowiak, former wife of the late Frank Wawrzyniak.
