Visitation for Claude J. Bird of Roselle will be held Sunday, September 24, 2023 2:00 - 8:00p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home 333 S. Roselle Rd. (1/2 mile south of Irving Park Rd.) Roselle. Funeral 5:00p.m.
Claude will leave a legacy of always being known for being a very kind, generous and helpful to those in need. Claude was an active member of the Masonic organization Scottish Rite. Proudly a 33rd° mason. Served his Country as 101st Airborne Paratrooper.
A tool and die maker by trade. Completed his career as Plant manager of Blackstone manufacturing and Mister gasket.
Proudly lead the Scottish Rite bike team to raise money for the MS society for over 30 years.
Active member of Roselle Methodist Church
He will be missed but not forgotten.
He is the beloved husband of Cipriana "Cindy" Bird; loving father of Barbara (Timothy) Reed} , William Nick Bird (fiancé Dina Krauss) Reed; cherished grandfather of Veronica (fiancée, Patrick Schneider) Reed, Travis Reed, Trevor (fiancé Natalie Ragusin) Reed, Claude Bird, Justin Bird and Hunter Bird.
