Claranne T. Zielinski (née Terry), 91, a longtime resident of Roselle, passed away on June 6, 2021. Claranne was born February 28, 1930 in Oak Park, IL, the daughter of the late Forrest and late Anna Terry. A long-standing pre-school teacher at Roselle Park District and Roselle United Methodist Church, Claranne was a devoted member and 5th grade Catechist and Early Childhood coordinator of Religious Education at St. Walter Church for many years. She Impacted the community by volunteering as PTO president, Girl Scout and Service Unit leader, along with Cub Scouts, Roselle Swim Team, school bands, CCW, University of Women’s Club and many other organizations. She was an avid lover of the arts with a passion for education. Loving wife of the late Francis "Frank"; beloved mother of Joanne Policht, David (Valerie), the late Peter (Lori), and the late Michael (Ann); proud grandmother of Annamarie Policht, Elizabeth, Joshua, and Jacob Zielinski, and Isabella and Avery Zielinski; dear sister of the late Kenneth (Cheri) Terry; fond aunt on many nieces and nephews.
