Clara Pauline (Jarzembowski) Wright, 92, of Chicago, Illinois passed away on July 25, 2020 at Glenbrook Hospital in Glenview, Illinois. She was born on October 3, 1927 , the daughter of Frank and Helen (Emmerling) Jarzembowski in Chicago, Illinois.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Luther (Luke) Wright , her brother, Andrew Bower, and her son-in-law, Allen Koskiewicz.
Clara is survived by her three children, Diane Koskiewicz, Debbie (Randy) Edwards, and Danny (Laura) Wright. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren, Jesse (Emily) Edwards, Matthew Wright, Ellen (Matt) Hill, Kristina (Edgar) Bernal, Michelle (Darrin) Walters, Curtis Edwards, Michael Wright, and Julie (Jon) Makowski. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
Clara attended Schurz High School in Chicago, Illinois. She married Luke Wright on June 9, 1951 in Norfolk, Virginia. They made their home in Chicago, Illinois. Clara also worked for the telephone company.
She was a homemaker for most of her adult life. She was involved in PTA and other activities with her children’s school. She enjoyed cooking and crafts, especially crocheting. Later she was a caregiver to her grandmother, mother, and husband. She was known in the neighborhood as a friendly face that was a friend to all.
