Clara E. Voe, 84, died Wednesday Feb. 17, 2011 peacefully surrounded by her family. She was born January 26, 1927 in Hungary to Maria and Lazslo Egyed in Pecs, Hungary. She married John Vöö and came to the United States in 1958. She earned her Masters Degree in Education at Northeastern University and taught at Blaine School in Chicago for 20 years. Clara was the loving mother of her children Maria (Anthony) Tontillo and the late John Voe; her grandchildren, Jennifer and Katherine Tontillo and John Voe.
She was preceded in death by her husband John Vöö and her son John Voe.
She was a wonderful mother, friend and teacher. She loved puzzles, watching birds and taking walks in the forest preserve and an avid Cubs Fan.
Visitation Sunday 2:00p.m. until time of service 7:00p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home 333 S. Roselle Rd. Roselle. After services, cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory. (630) 529-5751 or www.countrysidefuneralhomes.com.
