Cindy Ann Sabatino (nee Downes), 67, of Elgin, passed away peacefully Monday, November 25, 2024 with her family at her side. Cindy was known as an adventurous and avid traveller who loved spending time with her grandchildren. Beloved wife of John J. Sabatino, Sr; loving mother of Jeffrey Drobilek ane step mother of John J. Sabatino, Jr; proud Mammy of Alyssa and Amber; devoted daughter of the late James and the late Ann (nee Riordan) Downes; cherished sister of Patrick Downes, Cathy (the late Jessie) Castro, Maggie Krejci, Colleen (the late Johnnie and the late Danny) Gagliardi-Berry, Annie (Kevin) Kaminski, Michael Downes, and the late Bud Downes; favorite aunt of many nieces and nephews.
