Visitation for Cindy Lynn Malatia (nee DeLano) of Elgin, Wednesday January 23, 3:00PM-9:00PM at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 95 S. Gilbert Street (at Middle Street) South Elgin. Funeral Thursday 10:00AM at the funeral home. Interment Bluff City Cemetery.
Cindy was the beloved wife of Anthony for 20 years; Loving mother of Jennifer, and Jessica; Cherished daughter-in-law of John and Carol Malatia.
Cindy loved photography and was a long time photographer for the Examiner, she enjoyed baking, cooking and scrap-booking. Cindy was also former president of the PTO. She loved working at Kenyon Wood Middle School in the cafeteria.
