Christopher Moore

Christopher “Chris” Wade Moore, 54, of Bartlett, passed away peacefully Monday, November 16, 2015 at home with family after a long battle with cancer. Born June 6, 1961 in Geneva. Chris was a veteran of the U.S. Army and worked for many years at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights. He was an avid Bears and Iowa Hawkeye Fan who loved vacationing but his true passion was his family. Beloved husband of 24 years to Wendy (nee Steggers); loving father of Alexandria and Andrew; cherished son of Julia (nee Backey) and the late Lawrence; dear brother of Greg (Paula) and Carla (Brad) Hevron; fond son-in-law of Walter and Joyce Oblazney and brother-in-law of Mark Parzy and Dawn Smalley; kind uncle of Lindsay, Ashley, Jennifer, Jeff, Brett, Mark, Blake, Michael, Hunter, Luke and Genevieve. Memorial visitation 2:00p.m. until time of memorial service 3:00p.m. Saturday, December 5, 2015 at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd (at Stearns Rd), Bartlett.
