Christopher “Chris” A. Clavel, 54, of Schaumburg, died Tuesday, August 28, 2018 surrounded by family. Born March 20, 1964 in Renton, WA. Chris was big into restoring classic cars. His favorite was the 1970 Chevy C10 pickup truck. Chris enjoyed good times, friends and especially his family. Beloved husband of the late Mary Ellen; loving son of Robert and Ramona (nee Richardson); cherished brother of Tom (Gwen), Karen (David) Lang, Larry (Diana Perez) and Steve (Terry); caring uncle of Niki, Sean, Courtney, Blaine, Elizabeth, Nick & Brian and great uncle of Parker, Logan and Madelyn. Memorial visitation 1:00p.m. until time of memorial service 2:30p.m. Saturday, September 8, 2018 at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd (at Stearns Rd), Bartlett. Cremation was private at the Countryside Crematory. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Glioblastoma Foundation, www.glioblastomafoundation.org, would be appreciated.
