Christopher Arbeen

Christopher James Arbeen, 40, of South Elgin, died suddenly on September 25, 2018. Born November 9, 1977 in Chicago. Christopher had a great sense of humor that was rivaled only by his big heart. He enjoyed the small things in life such as shooting, fishing, and brewing beer but what he really enjoyed was spending time with his family, especially his kids and his dogs. Beloved dad of Tyler and MacKenzie; cherished son of Donald and Mary (nee Wiecek); caring brother of Kimberly Abatangelo and the late Tim Arbeen; loving life partner Candice; kind friend of Jason, Katie and their daughter Leah and proud dog dad to Charlotte, Jeff and Ditka. Visitation Monday, October 1 and Tuesday, October 2, 2018 from 4:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd (at Stearns Rd), Bartlett. Funeral Wednesday 9:15am to Church of the Holy Spirit, 1451 Bode Rd Schaumburg, Mass 10:00a.m. Following service cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, www.stjude.org, would be appreciated.
