Christine Nowak

Sister Christine Nowak, SSJTOSF died September 10, 2017. She served the Archdiocese of Chicago as teacher and pastoral minister primarily at St. Mary of Perpetual Help, St. Barbara, Lourdes High Schools. A member of the Sisters of St. Joseph of the Third Order of St. Francis, Sister was an archivist and Services Coordinator for Immaculata Convent in Bartlett, IL. Daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Wolniak) Nowak and sister of the late Edward, Reverend Joseph, Raymond and Thomas Nowak. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation Thursday, September 14th 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Chapel at Clare Oaks, 801 West Bartlett Rd., Bartlett., continuing Friday 9:30 a.m. until the time of mass 10:30 a.m. Burial St. Michael the Archangel.
