Christine “Tina” Marie Guertler, 49, of McHenry died Tuesday, February 2, 2010 in Maywood.
Born February 24, 1960 in Elgin. She was the daughter of Edwin A. Jr. and Anne, nee Steurer.
Tina was employed for several years locally at the Piggly Wiggly and at Meijer in McHenry. Tina loved her garden, flowers and her dog “Coco”. Tina also loved spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include mother Anne Martinez; brothers and sisters Sandra (Ken) Oswald, Valerie (Ed) Snyder, Richard J., Kathleen (Steven) Hines and Edwin III (Susan); nieces and nephews William, Cheryl, Kirk, Jason, Marie, Katherine “Bubbles”, Matthew and Joseph and great nephew and nieces Max, Alexandria and Gabrielle and her loving boyfriend Glenn Richter.
She was preceded in death by her father and half brother Anthony.
An informal memorial visitation will be from 4 – 9 p.m. Saturday, February 20th at the Hoosier Grove Barn, 700 W. Irving Park Rd, Streamwood with a memorial service at 5 p.m. Arrangements and cremation was private at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, Bartlett. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Scleroderma Foundation, Attn: Donations, 300 Rosewood Drive, Suite 105, Danvers, MA 01923 would be appreciated.
