A Memorial Service for Chester Kamys, of Streamwood, formerly of Niles, will be held Saturday, June 4, 2022 2:00p.m. at Immanuel United Church of Christ 1500 Old Church Rd. Streamwood. Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears attire will be welcomed. Cremation was private at the Countryside Crematory.
A Veteran of the U.S. Air Force, having served during the Korean War, Chester worked many years as a merchandiser for Health and Beauty products. He is also a member of American Legion Post 134 in Morton Grove and fraternity member of Phi Sigma Pi through Wright College.
Chester is the beloved husband of 30 years of Joan M. nee Urban; loving stepfather of Scott (Amanda Dyer) Litewski and Cindy Litewski; dear brother of the late Walter (the late Eleanor).
