Cheryl Meyer (nee Perkins), 55, of Genoa, previously of Burlington, died Monday, April 18 at her home. Born September 5, 1955 in Elmhurst, IL. Cheryl loved spending time in Wisconsin where she could catch fish, but most importantly spend time with her family; beloved wife to Steve; loving mother of Robert Rodriguez, Tessa and Kevin Meyer; cherished daughter to step mom Beverly Perkins and the late Paul and Margie (nee Stover) Perkins; dear sister to Candy (Dale) Grant, Cindy (Richard) Behles, Paul Perkins, Kathleen (Adrian) Vandergrift and the late Royce Lee Beliles; fond aunt to many loving nieces and nephews Memorial service Thursday 6:00p.m. at the Carpenters House Community Church, 201 N Kennedy Dr (Rte 25), Carpentersville. Visitation Friday 3:00p.m.-9:00p.m. with a funeral service at 5:30p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home 95 South Gilbert. (at Middle St.) South Elgin. Following services, cremation will take place at the Countryside Crematory. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Center at Kishwaukee Community Hospital, 10 Health Services Drive, DeKalb, IL 60115 would be appreciated.
