Funeral services for Charlotte B. Lachel nee Thorsteins of Roselle for 49 years will be held Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church 405 Rush St. Roselle, IL 60172 where she will lie in state from 9:00a.m. until the time of service 10:00a.m. Interment Fairview Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held Tuesday 3:00 – 9:00p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home 333 S. Roselle Rd. Roselle.
Born November 25, 1926 in Chicago, Charlotte died Dec. 19, 2009 in Elk Grove Village. Longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
She is the survived by her children Paul W. (Barbara) Lachel, Yvonne L. (Harry, D.D.S.) Oryhon, Laura L. (William, III) Stahnke; dear daughter-in-law Barbara Lachel; grandchildren Christian A. (Carmel) Lachel, Erik J. (Jennifer) Lachel, Courtney B. (Donald) Eggers, Jaret Lachel, Dr. Jeremy M. (Ana) Oryhon, Adrienne L. (Carl) Morrow, Alicia D. (Nathan) Wright, Timothy Oryhon, William R. Stahnke, IV and Shannon K. Stahnke; great grandchildren Logan A. Chase, Duncan L. Morrow, Claire M. Lachel, Mariana B. Oryhon, Celia G. Wright and one on the way; and sister, Dorothy Andriano.
Preceded in death by her parents Walter and Irene Thorsteins, son Gregory A. Lachel, brother Walter Thorsteins and loving companion Eugene Drzonek.
