Charlotte Hodge

A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2018 1:00- 3:00 p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Road) Streamwood/Schaumburg for Charlotte "Char" Hodge who passed away on December 2, 2018 in Hospice care. She was born October 22, 1941 in Centralia, IL. The daughter of Arthur Fred and Pearl Millie Rea, the granddaughter of Verner and Anna Fred and Homer and Lottie Rea. She was a resident of Streamwood since 1969. She worked at U-46 School district 1978-2003, most of that time a Dean's assistant at Streamwood High School. Survivors include husband Gary Hodge, married 1959; a son James A. Hodge of Elgin; a daughter Jill (David) Edelman of Oswego; a brother Ronald Fred of Poplar Bluff, MO; a sister Donna Fred of Montgomery, Two adored granddaughters Olivia and Annie Edelman.
