Charles Yates

Charles L. Yates, 87, of Bartlett formerly of Elmhurst, passed away Wednesday, December 27. An avid Wisconsin outdoorsman and Cubs fan, Charles enjoyed world travelling with the love of his life, Mary Lou, and spending time with his family. Beloved husband of 66 years of Mary Lou(nee Blajoff); loving father of Carolyn(Dave) Mason, Janet Sampurdanis, Mary(John) Anetsberger, Mike(Jeannette), and the late Thomas; dear grandfather of Christopher(Jen) Mason, Lisa(Adam) Esposito, Katie(Nate) VanDorn, Lauren and Tom(Candace) Sampurdanis, Bobby Gallo, Grace(Bryan) Reis, John Anetsberger, Caden Yates, and the late Joshua Mason; proud great grandfather of Colin, Ava, Vera, Grace, Max, and Alexander; fond brother of Jean(the late Ronald) Biesterfeld and the late Lawrence Yates, Jr. Visitation Friday, December 29 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd.(at Stearns Rd.), Bartlett.
