Charles Wiercinski

Charles “Chuck” E. Wiercinski, 68, passed away surrounded by family December 7, 2014. Chuck was the beloved husband of Kathy (nee Lorenz) for 39 years; cherished brother of Rosalie (Charles), Donna (Mark), Sandy and Don (Deb); loving brother-in-law of Joan, John (Donna), Billy (Janet), Tom, Merri (Michael), and Kim (Kim); proud uncle of Laura, Steven, Matt, Melanie, Dan, Doug, Andy, Jarod, Justin, Misha, Mariah; Fond great uncle of many.

Chuck had been in the real estate business since 1975 and was a past president of the Northern Illinois Commercial Association of Realtors and the Northwest Suburban Association of Realtors. He was a Certified Commercial Investment member of the National Association of Realtors and had served on several committees for the Northern Illinois Commercial Association of Realtors, the Illinois Association of Realtors and CCIM Institute. Chuck was also a Senior Instructor for the CCIM Institute. In 1986 he was recognized as the Realtor of the Year for Northwest Suburban Association of Realtors, he received the Realtor of the Year Award in 2007 from Realtor Association of Northwest Chicagoland and in 2008 from Northwestern Illinois Commercial Association of Realtors. In addition to serving on the IAR board, Chuck was a member of the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation’s Education Advisory Board.

"Chuck not only wore many hats in his professional career but also in his personal life. Chuck was many things to many people - best friend and husband, brother, uncle, great uncle, good friend and neighbor, godfather, avid golfer, skier, scuba diver, great traveler - Australia to Turkey, Canada, Mexico and points in between. Most of all Chuck will be remember for his great witt, humor and love of his wife, family and friends".

Memorial visitation for Chuck Saturday, January 10, 9:30a.m. until time of memorial Mass 10:30a.m. at St. Hubert Church 729 Grand Canyon St, Hoffman Estates. Cremation took place privately at Countryside Crematory.
