Charles Southern

Charles Southern of Roselle since 1958; beloved husband of the late Dolores (nee Brenner) for 61 years; loving father of Cheryl (Terry) Little of Indianola, IA, Merilee (John) Read of Stillwater, MN and Kyle (Sue) Southern of Warrenville; cherished grandfather of Heather, Sarah, Emily, Kate, Rachel, Alex and the late Hannah; proud great grandfather of Jacob, Duncan, Tessa, Bergyn, Levi, Reid, Laura, Audrey, Jeremy, Elijah, Mason and the late Jaxon. A WWII Army veteran he received a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star and was in the Battle of the Bulge. He enjoyed reading and history. Memorial Service Thursday, 1:00 p.m. at St. John Ev.
