Charles M. Short, 64, of Hanover Park died Tuesday, August 20, 2013. Loving father of Jennifer (Roger) Karels and Matthew Short; cherished brother of Victoria (John) Pierce; adoring grandfather of Sean M. Stanko and Sky E. Karels; proud uncle of Megan (Mark) Altaweel and Andrew (Amy) Pierce and great uncle to Melinda Altaweel and Baby Pierce on the way.
Charles was an avid gun collector and hunter, and a Chicago Bears and NASCAR superfan. He was a great friend to all.
Visitation Saturday, August 24th, 11:00a.m. until time of service at 1:00p.m. at Countryside Funeral Home 1640 S. Greenmeadows Blvd (at Barrington Road) Streamwood/Schaumburg.
